Bethany UM Church Spring and Easter Bazaar

The Craft guild started out in January, to start planning and creating our Easter and Spring Crafts, however, as you all know, Winter has NOT been our friend.  In fact, it has become pretty much stressful.  We are all looking forward to milder temperatures and please...enough with the snow and ice!  We have lost 4 crafting days and although it may not sound like much it has set us back a month.  We have not given up!...we are putting our faith and trust in our Lord and each other to get us through this.  We have some lovely new items and ideas, we just need to get them completed!  You WILL see a room filled with Spring and Easter when you join us at our Spring and Easter Bazaar on Friday, March 28th and Saturday, March 29th, 8:00 am to 3:00 pm on both days.   We are hoping that these days are "Spring like", and that everyone will come out to enjoy lunch with us and take home a piece of Spring with them.

We are asking for prayers for our sweet Khris Lehman.  

Khris had a stroke and is in  

Well Span Surgical and Rehabilitation Hospital,

Khris is a great cook, and she has made many yummy soups, and side dishes for our bazaars.  

She is also very gifted in creating crafts.  Our prayers are with her as she

works hard to return home to her family and to all of us at Bethany!

We made some very "sweet" arrangements and filled our containers 

with jelly beans and marshmallow bunnies!

For those who love chocolate eggs.

Lovely little egg cups with small floral arrangements.  These are great for

 someone in a nursing home, as they only take up a small amount of room.  

Also, great for an office desktop.  They will look adorable

where ever you place them!

 We made an assortment of glass bottles covered with glass beads

with lights inside.

 I asked Molly to put on her Spring hat for you

but...

she felt it was still too cold...

and she preferred to wear her

white fur scarf.

Don't forget to join us for lunch!  We will be serving Cream of Cauliflower soup and Hamburger Vegetable soup.  Chicken Salad and Hamburger BBQ sandwiches and assorted sides.  Of course, many yummy desserts!

Our Bethany bakers will be busy baking wonderful breads, cakes, pies, including apple dumplings and more for you.
