GOD IS GOOD!
Merry Christmas everyone from the gal's from Bethany Craft Guild,
and of course Molly too!
God has Blessed us with a wonderful 2012 Christmas Bazaar!...Our best one yet! We raised approximately $3,700!
We want to "Thank ALL our wonderful volunteer's including the Bethany Baker's who who baked for us. We also "Thank everyone who donated so many wonderful Attic Treasure's. They were a big hit and many shoppers bought attic treasures for Christmas gifts! We could not have done it with out your loving support.
We started our Craft Guild with at least 12 women, now we are down to 8, which makes our efforts more difficult to continue to prosper. We invite anyone who enjoys creating crafts and christian fellowship to join us. Call Carolyn Weidlemann at the church office at 843-2922, for more information.
Here are pictures taken through out the day on Friday & Saturday.
The pictures pretty much tell the story. Every one enjoyed shopping and meeting new friends.
Following are a few of the crafts that were not posted earlier.
Now we will get busy and start planning our Spring Bazaar!
***********
Again...Merry Christmas to all...
and to all a "GOOD NIGHT!

Our 2012 Holiday Bazaar!
HAVE A HOLLY, JOLLY CHRISTMAS!
The Craft Gals have been busy planning and crafting for our 2012 Holiday Bazaar.
Mark your calender NOW for November 30th and December 1st. Our Holiday Bazaar will be from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm on both days.
We are located in York at 1401 Mt. Rose Ave. We are handicap accessible. If you have any questions, concerning our location or bazaar, please call our office at 717-843-2922.
We will be serving lunch from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm both days....
BUT before I tell you more...here is a peek of some of our crafts!
This is a selection of assorted "thoughts", they are framed 8"x10". They can be placed in larger frames with matting.
We've come up with a lovely idea for our old Bethany song books.
Lovely wreaths. Come early...they won't last long!
This is a selection of our Christmas wreaths and Winter wreaths.
The Wooden shovels have hand painted scenes
done by Dee.
There are only two, so shop early!
Gail brought these these pine cones from North Carolina.
They are about 10" long.
They are about 10" long.
We have a selection of these snowmen.
Each one has a flicker light inside...sooo cute!
While we're on snowmen, how would you like a snowman pin?
more snowmen...
OOOPS!
Sorry, that's Molly our mascot. She was taking a break from
crafting and doing research on Ancestry.com
We have a very nice selection of tree or package ornaments.
We will have a lovely selection of hand knit items made by Carolyn
and so much more...but we have to leave some surprises!
Here are some of the gals, working on crafts.
We started in August and it is so hard to believe that November
is here and that there are only a few weeks until our bazaar.
I saw the Navy airship, on a beautiful afternoon, when I
was walking Molly in the yard. I quickly went and got my camera.
It was headed away from me, so I started waving to it.
Was I surprised, when it turned, and flew directly over
my house! George served in the U.S. Navy for 6 years
and he loved it!...a wonderful memory.
Now, back to the bazaar. We will be serving homemade soups and sandwiches for lunch. This Summer we husked corn and froze it for our famous corn chowder. We will most likely have our campers soup also. We will have hamburger BBQ and chicken salad sandwiches, and a large array of desserts.
In additon, we have made an assortment of homemade jams. Our Bethany Bakers will be busy making yummy candy, cakes, pies, breads and hopefully Josie's Apple dumplings, etc.
You won't want to miss our Bake Shoppe.
And for the children ...
We will have our Secret Santa Shoppe!
No parents allowed. Santa's helper's will assist the children with
their selections. All gifts are wrapped with gift tags at no cost.
We do NOT make a profit in our Secret Santa Shoppe.
All items are sold at or below cost.
Come and enjoy shopping with us and warm up with
a free cup of coffee or tea. We invite you to bring your
family, friends and neighbors.
Lastly, but most important,
we give our Praise and Thanksgiving
to God our Father, who continues to Bless
this church and the dedicated group of Bethany
Craft Guild ladies as we work for the good of our
church and our community...
And all God's people said AMEN!
